I know that there are different laws regarding this in different places.
In some places you can use bicycles only on sidewalks and some places it is prohibited.
So what are the laws regarding cycling in Paris?

I think they can.
It depends on the actual sidewalk. I wouldn't cycle on sidewalks in a crowded place though.
