Hundreds of new live organisms were discovered in Antarctic waters during an expedition and researching of underwater topography (near the Tasmanian Island). Together with soil samples, live organisms were extracted from the water. According to researchers, more than 40% of the species are unknown for the world. About 274 new species of fish, corals, molluscs etc. were discovered. Their age makes up over 300 years.
The world seems to be so small, but it's surprising to hear that something new was discovered. I don't think we will ever reach a moment when ordinary people and even scientists will know everything. The point is that they discovered 274 species, it's an imposing number! It wouldn't be something extraordinary if only 8-10 were discovered. Surprises occur us everyday.
