Hi everyone! I just thought it would be interesting to share other attractions in Paris when you are visiting the place. Here are some of those spots:
Arc de Triomphe - located in Charles de Gaule, this arc is a symbol of the battles one by the great Napoleon Bonaparte for France. If you climb up their viewing deck, you will have a breath-taking view of the Sacré-Coeur and the Champs-Elysées.
Louvre Museum - a museum that is said to be the best and most beautiful art gallery of the world, and the second most visited tourist spot in Paris. It takes pride in housing the well-known "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo da Vinci.
Notre Dame Cathedral - known for its new Gothic style, this cathedral is the reflection of Paris' status as France's capital. A lot of the structures of the church were severely damaged during the revolution, and it was only during the 19th century that the Parisians decided to rebuild or renovate the cathedral. Many people say that the sudden renewed appreciation to the cathedral is due to Victor Hugo's book "Notre-Dame de Paris".
Sacré-Coeur Basilica - this Basilica with an English translation of Basilica of the Sacred Heart was said to be built to honor the Gods after they saved Paris from the war against the Prussians.
Jardin du Luxembourg - this 22,45 hectare large area is the most popular park in Paris. In the middle of the park, you will see a an octagon-shaped pond called the Grand Bassin where children can enjoy boating and pony rides.
There goes some of Paris' tourist attractions. Hope you get to visit some of them soon. I would really love it if you could share what you think is the best tourist attraction in Paris.
