Is my flight to Paris going to be canceled?

I already have my tickets to fly from the U.S. to Paris, and was wondering with this recently erupted volcano if my flight is going to be cancelled. My flight is on April 21 (wednsday) and today is saturday. Please let me know, thanks!

nobody knows yet! It's going day-by-day. Everything is cancelled today....maybe tomorrow will be better. Maybe not. Ya just gotta be zen about it!

No-one on Y!A can tell you whether your flight will be cancelled or not. This is a question you need to ask your airline, not here. Give them a ring on Monday to see what the situation is with flight cancellations and rescheduling.

It's Saturday the 17th today and the news says it's worse today. By next Wednesday, who knows?
Some flights from Canada actually got through on Thursday. Good luck, but it's too soon for anyone to know about next Wednesday. One thing is for sure; if the skies cleared today, they'll still be working on the backlog of travelers well into next week.

Airport authorities are reviewing the situation on an hourly basis and any reopening will be determined by experts who will assess the path of the ash cloud, wind direction, cloud height, etc. I would contact your airline and ask if they will have a backlog of passengers to clear and, based on whether or not the airport is open, if your flight will go ahead and, if you will be able to fly. Currently there are very few flights in the air over Europe and the domino effect will take place once they do reopen - but that date is not known as it depends on the movement of the cloud and any perceived hazard to aviation. Contact your carrier for more flight information.

I've been in this situation before,but because of a strike, they have a lot of these in france, i was all ready to go, i just needed to be confirmed.
They had to call me before 7 pm. I'm still waiting.
