Disney Land Paris

Disney Land Paris Posted 24 August 2005
Hi everybody,
I'm planning a visit to Paris soon and my brother really want's to go to DisneyLand.
So here are some questions:
What is the entrance price? Do I have to pay for each attraction?
When can we visit it, which days of the week?
What is the best attraction in Disney Land Paris?

Thank you.

Hi jiji70, Paris has a very good public transport system and you have the choice of the metro the bus and the RER.

The metro is similar to the tube only they don't go by direction, ie southbound, northbound, they go by the end destination so you need to know that. There are maps everwhere so it's not too confusing. You can also buy 'carnets' of 10 metro tickets which are cheaper than buying individual ones. These can also be used on the buses. If you can, take the bus as much as possible as it is a great way of seeing the city. You can also take a bateau mouche on the river. This is particularly pretty at night as most of Paris's monuments are on the river and they are all lit up after dark.

The RER goes further outside of Paris into the suburbs and is the main way to get to Eurodisney, but there are a few lines so you need to check which one goes to Marne la Vallee. Once you get there I'm sure there must be a shuttle bus to Disney but I'm not sure - maybe somebody else knows?

Disneyland in Paris is nearly located 20 miles of Paris. if you take the RER line A to the Marney-la-Vallee/Chessy stop that would take you 45 minute-ride.
And from the stopover is only a walking distance from the park.
A one-day admission to one park cost 43€ and 35€ for adults and children, respectively. Under 3 years old if free of charge.
There are two main parks, the Walt Disney Park and the Disneyland Park with its five lands.

Great replies! You should definitely visit Disneyland in Paris! The place is soo huge and beautiful that I can assure you, you will not have a dull moment there! And what's great about Disneyland in Paris is that there are hotels right withing the compound of the park. If I'm not mistaken, there are about 5 hotels withing the park and several others within minutes away from the park. This is perfect for travelers like you who wants to visit Disneyland. There are also some buses which deliver you to and from the hotel. Have fun! I'm sure you will!
