Am I allowed to take two separate pieces of luggage from Germany to Paris traveling with Air France? Posted 29 January 2011
I am Traveling first from Stuttgart To Paris (CDG) I am connecting after this with Delta from Paris to JFK in New York. I am wondering if I am still allowed to have two pieces of luggage not counting the carry-on with me from Stuttgart to Paris

I usually travel Northwest when traveling internationally from Germany to the states. I think you are allowed the 2 separate pieces of luggage, but the second one you may have to pay a monetary amount for. I would check their website for luggage allowance. It will tell you there.

You need to talk to Delta. However, for most airlines in this situation, the baggage allowance of the airline accepting your bags is paramount provided the bags are being transferred for you. So, if you are traveling from Stuttgart to Paris on an airline that allows two free checked bags, you should be OK. But check with Delta.
