Paris? Posted 21 March 2005
What do you think?
Is Paris really the most romantic place in the world?

I just loved Paris, there is nothing I did not like. I had a hard time finding restaurants and yes it was so romantic, beautiful, breataking. I wish I could live there for the rest of my life.

Was it really difficult to find a restaurant?

I bought this book and made myself a schedule to where to go, and where to go and eat but the book was crap and I ended up choosing restaurants au hazard which was kind of difficult and I really did not know where to go; when it came time to eat I just ended up eating sandwiches or going to the small grocery store near my hotel.

It's a bitch.

I have a love of different foods from all over the world. Especially Greek foods.

But when I go to any resturant and order a Gyros or Souvoulaki....

It is served on a baguette with mayonaise. Instead of on a pita and tzatziki sauce.

I loved London for great food. I only wish I had the money to go to London instead of France. (Canadian dollars don't do well against the pound - Hey how about letting Canada in the E.U.?)

Paris looks really romantic in the evening. There is no place like the central park for spending time with your lover.

Be careful girls, don't walk alone evenings in the central park. There are hooligans waiting for the best moment to rob women

not at all, I think. It's a quite silent place.
By the way, here's a link for those who don't know where it is

I agree CAS, but you can trust only to locals, not to foreigners, especially if you meet swarthy persons.

For me the most romantic place on earth is the seaside of a Caribbean island

The Eiffel Tower along with Seine river are the trump card of Paris. I doubt it would be so romantic without these two elements, otherwise it worths being called romantic.

Paris is full of beautiful gardens, which create an unbelievably romantic setting. Luxembourg Gardens, in particularly are very much romantic like. So, yes, Paris is romantic.
