Chief Environmental Science Officer Climate Change/Carbon Offsets

We are a ground-breaking, environmental solutions-based company addressing some of the foremost issues of our time: climate change, global warming, independence from fossil fuels and perhaps most importantly, helping the average citizen do his or her part in combating and facing these issues.

We are locating our headquarters in Portland, Oregon USA this spring and currently seeking a full-time Chief Environmental Science Officer

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION

1. Domain knowledge of pollution cap and trade markets.

2. Working knowledge of the Clean Development Mechanism, the JI, Kyoto Protocol and Carbon Trading in CERs and VERs in regulated markets around the world.

3. Please do not apply unless you can clearly demonstrate your background domain knowledge.

The post will require the candidate to verify compliance with our offset protocol from a number a number of VER suppliers around the world.

The Company has a written and undertaken a peer review of a Climate Forcing Greenhouse Gas Offset Protocol for the Transportation Sector. This document took over one year to research and complete with a six figure budget. Using these scientific criteria The Company has established an exclusive VER Facility with the globally dominant originator of high quality VER and CER credits and has populated the facility with a significant tonnage of VERs.

This candidate will have the opportunity to participate in our evolution and gain a firm foothold in the foundation of the company.

The founding shareholders/investors in the company include individuals with backgrounds as leading scientists, web-entrepreneurs, marketing and media (news) including the entertainment industry as well as individuals that have held senior posts within the US Federal Government, including two Presidential Advisors, one holding a Presidential Cabinet Post.

We would also like to stress: we are a global-oriented company addressing climate change solutions with offsets being a part of these solutions---but unlike many typical environmental organizations, we are not-politically based and are non-partisan in our business practices and ideology.
