Weekend Trips From Paris

Hello,

We are new to Paris and would like a weekend to the countryside (cottage, trees, etc.) - an easy train trek. Does anyone have suggestions for cottages for weekend rental? No more than a couple of hours on the train.

deauville is great, but more hotels than cotteges :(
