Paris 14th - Montparnasse Southern - Rue Hallé Quarter We area in the southern part of Montparnasse, in the quarter of Rue Hallé, a very different and very quiet Parisian area, characterized by very small charming buildings. This very typical Parisian quarter is the result of an urbanistic plan carried out in the 1830's on lands owning to Military Order of Malta before French Revolution: this plan was to be an ideal town. The original aspect has been preserved against the attemps to destroy these small charming houses for erecting high contemporary buildings. The Rue Hallé quarter shall be still discovered by international tourists.Our apartment is located exactly in the Rue Hallé, the street name the quarter, few steps away from Denfert-Rochereau and the gigantesque Lion of Belfort. Therefore it is in direct connection with the 2 Parisian airports Charles-de-Gaulle e Orly by RER.This 35 square meters wide studio apartment is at 2ns French floor via stairs. It has been fully renovated at the end of Spring 2006. It is plenty of light because of its five window opening on the quiet Rue Hallé or on a private garden of a nice small villa on the side of our house. The interiors show a huge ancient stone fireplace, a double bed (140 x 200 cm) dressed by several cushions and two small armchairs; in the dining area a rond table for 6 people and a 37 inches plasma tv set. The fully equipped kitchen provides electric ceramic contact grills, a large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer machine, etc. The bathroom offers shower cabin and sink; the toilette is in a separate room. Fresh linens and matching towels are included.The apartment provides cable Tv, high speed Internet connection, telephone for incoming an local calls (use your calling card for local and long distance).The nearest Metro stations are Mouton-Duvernet (line 4) and Denfert-Rochereau (lines 4, 6, RER line B). RER line B is in direct connection with the main Parisian airports: Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
