Subway station "Abbesses" or "Anvers" (2 minutes walk) will take you all around Paris (Direct to the Champs-Elysees).
The Sacre-Coeur is right in front, the "place du tertre" and its painters, the "Moulin Rouge" Cabaret and several night clubs at just a few minutes. The best area if you want to discover the typical Paris.
