Long-term rental in Paris
I work free-lance in apartment renovation with a business partner and I'm also a free-lance apartment hunter for an American company (helping English-speaking people to purchase their dream apartment in Paris).
My 9 year-long lease comes to an end this year from now on as I received notice from my landlord (he takes over the place for himself-the law here). Things are very tight in Paris in matter of rentals and also landlords don't trust free-lance at all. I'm hoping to find a nice landlord who needs a long-term tenant and I'm willing to perform some housesitting duties. I now live in a quiet district (the part of the 17th near Neuilly-Parc Monceau) in a 40m2 apartment on courtyard-- very quiet but would consider other areas. If necessary I can mail you a recommendation letter from my landlord. Thank you for your help. Philippe
