Intego is the leading developer of Internet security and privacy software products for Macintosh, with offices in Paris, France, Austin, Texas, and Nagano, Japan.

We are looking for an experienced English-speaking press relations manager to manage our worldwide press relations program from our Paris headquarters. The candidate will work very closely with the CEO and in a head-office environment that has a very can-do, non-bureaucratic culture.

You will be responsible for managing the reputation of the company, its brand and products through the global press, including trade, national, online and broadcast media. You should have excellent media contacts in the IT sector, more specifically in the Macintosh market, and you will need an understanding of the security software market. You should have at least 2 years experience working in media relations, preferably in the IT sector.

The right candidate will drive international awareness for all existing and new products, be highly creative and flexible, be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and journalists, and have excellent written and spoken English and fluent French. Fluency in additional languages is desired but not essential. You will also be highly motivated and organized.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):

Managing press contacts and maintenance of Integos press contact database
Organizing press conferences, interviews and meetings
Attending trade fairs around the world, presenting Integos products to the press
Writing and editing press releases, press kits, and responding to journalists questions by telephone, email and chat.
Providing NFR products to journalists for reviews and following up on reviewer questions
Distributing press releases to Integos press contact database
Developing new press contacts in both the technical and general press
Creating press reviews of existing articles from publications around the world and on-line
Interfacing with Intego offices around the world to coordinate press campaigns
Other marketing-related projects
