Does the average paris hotel have ice machines? If not, is it possible to purchase ice in a supermarket?

Most Paris hotels will NOT have ice machines in the halls for guest use. If your hotel has a bar or breakfast room, one or the other will probably have an ice maker and you can probably get a bucket of ice from the front desk or barman.

I would say that in a 3-star hotel or below, you won't find these ice-machines. 4 is more likely to have it, and a 5-star has it for sure.

Yes, it depends on each hotel, but if you ask at the front desk, they will guide you to somebody.

it also depends on how many days you are going to stay in that hotel. If the management finds out you will stay longer, they will try to get that ice-machine, no doubt.

I doubt that anyone would bother to bring an ice machine for the only sacke of one person. |
